TERMS OF BUSINESS

The Funerals Market Investigation Order 2021 requires funeral directors to display specific information about their business, to allow customers to choose a funeral director based on criteria which may influence their choice.

To comply with the terms of the Order we display our ‘Terms of Business’ on our website and in our premises.

  • Attended Cremation: £0
  • Unattended Cremation: £1350
  • Attended Burial: £0
  • Unattended Burial: £1487.50

Deposits and final balances are required to be paid as follows –

  • Deposit paid by: 1 Working day (Monday – Friday) prior to the funeral
  • Final balance due: 30 days from date of funeral

If you require financial help in terms of funeral costs, your dedicated Funeral Director will discuss a potential payment plan with you : we do not add interest to funeral costs.

Other relevant information relating to our ‘Terms of Business’:

If you are making a claim to Social Security Scotland for help with funeral costs, your dedicated Funeral Director will advise you fully in terms of overall cost and what Social Security Scotland may pay if your claim is 100 percent successful. There will always be a balance due that Social Security Scotland will not pay, but your dedicated Funeral Director will discuss with you any deposit and instalment plan. Please note there are no extra charges if a claim is being made to Social Security Scotland and we do not charge interest.
