MacLeish Posted by Zoe 1 min read Suddenly, but peacefully, at Harestane Care Home, Dundee, on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026, Ruth (nee Smith), age 86 years, beloved wife of the late Jim, much-loved mum of Frances, Sharon and Gillian, dear mother-in-law of Gerry and Ricky, devoted gran of Jody, Vicky, Cheryl, Naomi, Jordan, Brogan, and treasured great-gran of Abi, Becca, Tyler, Ava Lily, Joseph, Kaelin, Aspen, Katie, Kovah, Konnie and the late Stephen. R.I.P. Funeral Mass in St Columba’s R.C. Church on Thursday, June 18th at 10 a.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited; interment thereafter in Balgay Cemetery, arriving main gate, at 11:30a.m. Donations can be made at the church in aid of the Harestane Care Home Comfort Fund.
