Low Posted by Zoe 1 min read Peacefully, after a short illness, at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, on Sunday, March 22nd, 2026, Robert (Bert) Durie, aged 88, beloved husband of the late Edna, much loved dad of Pamela and Billy, father-in-law of Jim and Trisha, greatly loved grandad of Jodi, Billy, Samantha, Lori, Clare and the late Robbie, great-grandad of Taylor, Kacey, Zach, Jack, Austin, Harris, Arthur, Michael, Murron and Norah. Sorely missed but never forgotten. Funeral service in the service rooms of James Ashton and Son, 1a Cardean Street, on Thursday, April 9th, at 10.30 a.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, interment thereafter in Pitkerro Grove Cemetery, arriving main gate at 11.30 a.m. Family flowers only, please, but donations in lieu, if desired, may be made at the service rooms in aid of Dementia Scotland.
