Prevost Posted by Zoe 1 min read Peacefully, at Ninewells Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, December 4, 2025, Jim (aged 85), dearly beloved husband and soulmate of Jean, cherished dad of Wendy and the late Caroline and Elaine, adored grandad of Brendan, Ryan, Melissa and Jamie, much-loved great-grandad of Luca and Ruari, doting companion of Buster the dog, dear brother of Betty, and a loving uncle, brother-in-law and good friend to many. R.I.P. He will be sadly missed. Reception of Remains, followed by Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church on Wednesday, 17th December at 10.00am., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, interment thereafter in Barnhill Cemetery, arriving main Strathmore Street gate at 11.30am. Family flowers only please but Donations in lieu, if desired, may be made at the church for Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Food Bank.
